Dear Partners, Investors, and Friends,
When I first sat down to design the blueprints for Famished, the goal wasn't just to build another fast delivery app. I saw a core flaw in the way our neighborhood commerce operated. Large aggregators were charging local merchants up to 25% commission on order values. This forced restaurants and shops to inflate their menu prices online, passing the burden to the customer.
At the same time, customers had to manage different wallets and apps for food, groceries, and medicine, resulting in high fragmentation. We realized that India didn't need another aggregator. India needed a unified, consolidated Hyperlocal Super App.
Pillar 1: 0% Direct Order Commissions
We are establishing a zero-commission standard for direct orders. This keeps margins inside local neighborhood shops and guarantees that online menus reflect actual in-store pricing. We monetize transparently through ad bidding placement, merchant software SaaS subscriptions, and small payment convenience charges.
Pillar 2: Unified Logistics Pooling
By routing food, groceries, and medicines through a single dispatch pool using spatial indexing coordinates, we reduce carbon footprint, minimize traffic congestion, and ensure our active Delivery Pilots earn predictable, fair weekly payouts.
With the platform now completely built, verified, and ready for public launch, we invite you to join us on this journey to reshape India's hyperlocal landscape by 2035.
