Welcome to Famished. By using our website, customer mobile apps, partner dashboards, or rider networks, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering or using any service within the Famished ecosystem (including Famished Food, Instamart, Medicine, Dine Out, and Shops), you represent that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms of Service in full.
2. User Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials associated with your Famished account, wallet verification codes, and registered phone numbers. Famished is not liable for unauthorized transactions resulting from credential compromise.
3. Platform Fees and Settlements
We process transactions using a secure double-entry financial ledger. Partner restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, and shops agree to complete payouts and settlements in accordance with agreed-upon commission terms (0% direct order models or base subscription rates).
Privacy Policy
At Famished, we take your personal data privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, and utilize user information across our hyperlocal delivery platforms.
1. Location Coordinates & GPS Tracking
To facilitate lightning-fast 10-15 minute deliveries, our apps collect real-time device location and coordinates. This data is shared strictly with delivery pilots and store partners participating in your active order lifecycle.
2. Payment Records
We do not store your direct credit card numbers or UPI passwords. All payments are securely routed and handled by our PCI-DSS compliant partner Razorpay.
3. Data Deletion
Users may request complete account and data removal by sending an email with their registered phone number to support@famished.in.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our refund policies ensure transparency and fairness for customers, merchants, and riders.
1. Cancellation Window
Customers can cancel food, grocery, or shop orders within 2 minutes of checkout for a 100% refund. Once a partner accepts or starts packing the order, cancellations may incur a fee matching the product values.
2. Medicine & Prescription Cancellations
If an uploaded prescription is marked `RxRejected` by our verified pharmacist partner, the order is cancelled automatically. The full order amount is instantly credited back to your Famished Wallet or source payment account.
3. Delivery Delays
If our delivery fleet exceeds the SLA window by more than 20 minutes due to platform faults, you may request compensation or refunds via customer support.
Shipping & Delivery Policy
This policy details the delivery framework and SLAs for all hyperlocal services.
1. Delivery Areas & SLA
Famished serves residential and commercial grids within active zones in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. Average delivery times range between 10 to 15 minutes depending on distance (usually restricted to a 3-5km radius from dark stores or partner outlets).
2. Contactless Handover & OTP Verification
To ensure security, order handovers require an OTP exchange between the customer and delivery pilot. You can request contactless drop-offs by providing instructions in the app chat box.
GDPR & Compliance
Famished is committed to adhering to international compliance frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data Portability
EU residents or global users can request a structured copy of all personal, transaction, and coordinate history associated with their account by contacting our compliance officers.
2. Right to Restriction of Processing
You can toggle cookies, marketing tracking, and in-app analytics recording directly inside your account settings dashboard at any time.
