The Vision Behind Famished
Sameer Quraishi conceived Famished as a solution to India's highly fragmented quick commerce ecosystem. Observing that users had to jump between disconnected apps for food, groceries, and medicine, Sameer envisioned a unified Hyperlocal Super App operated on a single core wallet, unified courier fleet, and a zero-commission merchant engine.
Engineering & Implementation Journey
Famished is built from the ground up on modern architecture. In the initial design phase, Sameer's older brother, Saif Quraishi (a professional Software Engineer), provided expert guidance on the database schema designs and backend infrastructure setup. Saif's support laid a strong foundation for the enterprise-grade platform.
From March of this year, Sameer took over the complete execution by himself, coding the entire C# API backend, SQL Server databases, Angular dashboard panels (for merchants and administrators), and the React Native customer and pilot mobile applications. Today, the entire suite of 4 platforms is fully built, tested, and ready for launch.

Famished is owned and operated by ZARGAM Private Limited. Under Sameer's leadership, ZARGAM is positioned to redefine hyperlocal quick commerce, offering local neighborhood stores a fair platform to grow without paying high aggregator fees.
